This alternative medicine retreat is designed for a remote site in the Pacific Northwest, drawing on the simple forms of traditional scandinavian architecture, and the local vernacular. Utilizing a new building technology that removes all organic materials from the wall system, and maximizes the breathability of the system while retaining the insulative value of the assembly, the project strives for maximum health and sustainability.
