This 30,000 s.f. mixed use project in Auburn, Washington, included 29 residential units, along with 2,660 s.f. of Commercial Space, and 2,000 s.f. of Common Space. The restrictive code requirements included providing a fire truck turnaround on a narrow site, resulting in separating the project into two structures with a parking area between.
The goal of the project is to provide well designed and constructed apartments at an affordable price.
The Commercial spaces have been designed to be used as small businesses on the ground floor, facing the street, with parking behind. The main entry for the tenants is along the side of the building, making it equally accessible by foot or by car.
